Of all the grief that came from A.I.D.S.,
The greatest insult of all
Came from the men who preached God’s word,
And claimed we were being chastised,
For our sinful sexual behavioral ties.

It may be true, we were out of control
And needed some correction,
But to think that God would kill his own
In such an uncaring horrible way
Is an awfully expensive price to pay

For behavior that seems to come natural,
That keeps us from being alone;
And what of the innocent children,
Who had nothing to do with the actions
Of the irresponsible human factions.

Thank God, we have stopped the confusion,
That we may be close to a cure,
That we have bonded together,
To set an amazing informative pace,
For protected sex to become commonplace.
